WEST Sussex Riding Club is one of the longest-established riding clubs in the south-east, affiliated to the British Horse Society and with a formidable success record in competitions, both locally and nationally.
This year, the club, which has around 200 members, has had exceptional success with its teams in all disciplines, and the club dressage and show jumping teams have qualified for the National Show Jumping and Dressage Championships in Lincolnshire from September 5-7.

Member Cordelia Johnson-Gilbert said: "Going to national championships is an expensive affair, both in entry fees and transport. We have been trying to raise money through a car boot and tack sale held at the beginning of the month but still need more.

"We hope that a local business would help us by sponsoring our teams so that they can compete and achieve their full potential."
